Jennifer Castino has a background in public service, having worked in both public and community college libraries. Jennifer earned her Master of Library Science degree at the University of North Texas and holds a BA in English from Sam Houston State University. Her library work experience includes serving as a virtual reference librarian as well as a catalog librarian for the largest community college system in Texas. Jennifer is currently a part time development associate at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, coordinating fundraising efforts with the hospital’s corporate partners during Children’s Miracle Network campaigns. Jennifer’s community service activities include outreach and children’s ministry positions at Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton, PTA and school volunteering, and co-chairing the Wheaton College Community School of the Arts’ Artists Serving Others project, among many others. The daughter of retired District 200 educators, Jennifer is dedicated to supporting public education and the equal opportunity it provides. She lives in Wheaton with her husband Mark and their son.
