Terese earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign. She has volunteered extensively with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and spearheaded bringing mobile food pantries to the District 200 neighborhoods on a regular basis. Terese has also worked alongside the Northern Illinois Food Bank on various fundraising activities.
