Wheaton North’s Mr. Griegoliet invited the community to see his students’ final projects in May 2018. When the guests arrived, the students gave tours of their custom-designed habitats for living on Mars!
One of the Fall 2017 Student Excellence Grants was awarded to Wheaton North High School Physics teacher, Robert Griegoliet. He purchased a 3D printer for his classroom and saw exciting results from his students’ projects. CUSD 200 and Student Excellence Foundation staff and Board members enjoyed visiting with the students as they presented their habitats, which were made from parts printed on the 3D printer.
Congratulations to Mr. Griegoliet for his creative use of technology, and thank you to his students for inviting us to participate in their final projects.
We are proud to say that Mr. Griegoliet was also a recipient of a 2017 Distinguished Educator Award.
